About Us
Gary and Chris Wilson are longtime Prescott-area locals with deep roots in the community. Gary was born and raised in Prescott, while Chris was born in Cottonwood and raised in Prescott. They first met at the local KFC when Gary stopped for dinner after his classes at Yavapai College—a very Prescott beginning to their story.
Today, they have two children, one grandchild and a dog. Chris is also an important part of Advanced Coatings, keeping the books and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.
For Gary, being part of this community has always meant giving back. He volunteered with Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters for more than 30 years and mentored seven Little Brothers before retiring from the organization last year. He also spent 10 years with Sunup Rotary and 17 years with Prescott Little League. When Gary and Chris aren’t working, they enjoy camping, exploring local trails and taking an adventurous trip each spring to see new places and learn about their history. Gary also enjoys fly-fishing and smoking meat, and the family looks forward to hometown traditions like the Fourth of July Parade and Acker Night.
